In SEG Booth #2142, Actuality Systems, Inc.'s Interactive Hologram-Like Perspecta® Display Shows Seismic Visualization in 3-D

HOUSTON , Texas - November 4, 2005 - Actuality Systems, Inc. will demonstrate the Perspecta Spatial Display v1.9 and GeoPerspecta at SEG in the George Brown Convention Center in Houston from Nov. 7-9 on the following schedule:

Monday Nov. 7: 12-1pm and 3-6pm
Tuesday Nov. 8: 12-1pm and 3-6pm
Wednesday Nov. 9: 12-6pm

Perspecta is a Spatial 3-D visualization system, meaning that it uses advanced optics and software to project real three-dimensional imagery inside a transparent dome. Perspecta is designed to augment desktop 2D rendering and stereo displays. Unlike CAVE/HIVE and other stereoscopic environments, Perspecta does not require goggles to produce the 3-D effect. For the first time, geologists and geophysicsts can see seismic volumes in true 3-D, where aspects such as flat spots can be more easily confirmed.

Actuality's presence in the Saudi Aramco booth is emblematic of a visionary development effort for Spatial visualization tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of oil and gas exploration and production.
